While a steady guest in Karlsruhe, the soprano performed such roles as Elisabeth in Tannhäuser, Tatiana in Eugen Onegin, Leonore in Fidelio, and Elsa in Lohengrin, as well as Gutrune in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung under Mo. Perick. Ms. Gettler also appeared with Frankfurt Opera as Giuletta in Tales of Hoffmann as Didon in Les Troyens (the Ruth Berghaus Production conducted by Michael Gielen), and Aachen, Mannheim and Nantes Operas in the title role of Ariadne auf Naxos. She also was engaged as Leonore in Beethoven’s Fidelio under Kurt Masur in Salzburg’s Easter Festival.
